I contacted Ashley asking if she had availability to board and train my Plott Hound dog. He is a rescue and because of that he has some … issues (the biggest one is barking continuously when someone delivers mail). When I initially contacted her with my concerns, trip dates, and questions she immediately put my mind and ease and gave me some tools to start working my dog prior to my trips. When I dropped him off she again assured me and listened to my concerns, also giving me the goal of what was going to be accomplished in the week she has him.

Y’all. She worked my dog more then her own. I got daily updates, videos, pictures. And her price was the same if not less (for me) then all the other “doggy daycare” or house sitter/dog sitters in my area. And he now has a solid foundation for me to build off of to continue his training goals. He is so much quieter.

I was less stressed on my trip knowing he was well taken care of and loved AND getting a mental workout that he so much needed. I WILL continue to use her for all trips forever.

The absolute best dog trainer! The amount of skill and knowledge Ashley has is priceless. I brought 2 dogs to her, one for a crash course and one for a 2 week board and train. Our 115lb misbehaving mastiff got a crash course and when I tell you his transformation is life changing I am not exaggerating! He’s happy, confident, and a completely different dog. I no longer dread having company or taking him places. There is no one in this world I’d trust with my dogs and I can’t wait to see the transformation of our other dog in 2 weeks!

My 9 month old Australian Labradoodle, Ellie, just completed a two week board and train for basic obedience.

She returned home with excellent skills that have made it possible to continue the training. It has made such a difference in our day to day life to have her engaged and eager to sit, down, place, heel, board up and off! Life is manageable in a way I only hoped for before her training.

Ashley kept in touch daily, providing pictures and videos of the training process. We met up for the “hand off” and she spent two hours training me to follow through with the training.

She has been available to check in about questions and give more guidance as needed.

Most importantly, she has communicated a positive, clear, upbeat energy about working with my dog. My relationship with my dog has never been better!

WOW you will be amazed! My 5 month old GSP Moe just came home from Sheepdog K9 solutions 3 week board and train and Ashley was absolutely awesome! She treated Moe like he was her own! I’m blown away at what she was able to do in three weeks! Moe is deaf and Ashley was able to do everything a hearing dog can do with hand signals and vibration! It’s pretty amazing watching it happen in real time with all Ashley’s daily updates! Best decision I ever made!!

EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS: We had very high expectations of Ashley when we dropped our dog off to her for two weeks of training. She provided us daily updates of our dog's progress and spent a great deal of time with her each day. Needless to say, when we picked our dog up, the results exceeded our expectations (on and off-leash). Clearly, Ashley has a passion to train dogs the right way. Ashley is the best trainer anyone could ever ask for! She has helped me train both of my German Shepherds. The results have always been mind blowing and life changing. The connection she has with dogs is truly a beautiful thing. Even a chaotic puppy seems to immediately show respect to her.

We recently bought our pup (Koda) right before finding out we were expecting our first baby as well. Ashley initially helped us train him at our home with obedience. He picked up on it quickly and responded well while she worked with both him and us. But realistically between pregnancy and the chaos of life we just didn't have the time to dedicate to getting the training locked in. Fast forward a year later; we were overwhelmed with an infant and a high drive dog who is amazing and the sweetest but just impossible to control. Attempting to single-handedly take the dogs out while also toting the baby along was hazardous to say the least.

The minute we saw Ashley announce the opening of Sheepdog K9 Solutions we reached out about the board and train program. We knew this was our only hope in getting our boy where he needed to be. Ashley was flexible with scheduling his training and throughout his two weeks with her we received multiple pictures and video updates. Her enthusiasm about his progress had us so excited to get our pup back with the training both he and we deserved. When his training came to an end Ashley spent an ample amount of time with us reviewing everything she had done with Koda. She actively went through the training with him and us together to ensure that we got it as well. The training she instills has to be continued at home on a consistent basis, but she makes it so easy to transition to by setting everyone involved up for success. If we have any questions along the way, she is always available for us to reach out to.

We truly never could have gotten Koda to be as well behaved as he is without her help for those two weeks! Now I can safely go out on a walk while pushing my baby boy in a stroller with both of my dogs heeling by my side the entire way. We can't thank Ashley enough for the love and care she has poured into our dogs! If you are looking for help in training your dogs, she if the best there is.

Ashley has been instrumental in shaping Athena's behavior. In addition to providing guidance with basic obedience commands and training, Ashley provided training specific to behaviors that Athena was presenting. After a few lessons, Athena was heeling on a leash and walking past other dogs and people without reacting. I actually wish that I had started working with Ashley immediately after getting Athena rather than waiting until Athena was a little older. I strongly recommend Ashley and Sheepdog K9 Solutions.

I can highly recommend Ashley and Sheepdog K9 Solutions as a trainer/facility. I have a Caucasian Shepherd and these dogs are very stubborn and independent. Ashley provided Gypsy with her basic obedience training, for which I am very grateful. These dogs are livestock guardian dogs, and without this foundation training by an experienced trainer, these dogs can be a nightmare. Thanks again, Ashley, for your expertise.
