Meet Ashley! Ashley Woodman is the owner and head trainer of SKS.

Ashley is a former Police Lieutenant with over 15 years of Law Enforcement experience.

Following the events of 9/11, Ashley became involved in K9 Search and Rescue and found her passion. She has certified and deployed with 5 SAR K9’s over the years.

Her current two Human Remains Detection K9’s are Border Collies Zip and Nauti. Continuing with her love of detection work, she is also a certified NACSW Judge and enjoys teaching nose work (of any kind!) in her spare time.

Ashley has also trained and titled her own dogs in obedience, agility, narcotics detection, and tracking.

Ashley’s favorite thing about working with dogs and their owners is seeing the bond they create through training!
